"THE ARTIST"
La PAROLE Art Gallery in collaboration with Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, presents "THE ARTIST".
A group exhibition, curated by artist C.HABIB.
The exhibition is conducted by artists from several nationalities and distinct artistic schools. Artists will express their artistic particularity (each one in their own way) to engage the viewer in an artistic activity of different themes and mediums and deliver a unique contemporary art experience to the public.
The goal of the exhibition is to display the artistic diversity existing, shaped and materialized in the UAE in general, and permanently gathered under the roof of “La PAROLE Art Gallery” in particular. That is by highlighting the Schools of Art represented by the performance of the artists, locals and foreigners, and opening new horizons for both artists and people.
Artworks will vary between oil, acrylic, mixed media, Designs, collage and soft mediums as charcoal and pastels.

The Director of Cultural Events at the Ministry of Culture & Knowledge Development, Mr. Yasser Al Gergawi, declared:
"The upcoming Art Exhibition entitled ‘THE ARTIST’, brings together/combine the various artistic schools and the styles of the various artists according to their ethnicities and origins.

This exhibition reflects our reality in the United Arab Emirates that gathers harmonious and tolerant minds in one geographical location. And, this is the approach taken at La PAROLE Art Gallery.

Hence, I believe that the leader of the Art Gallery, the creative artist Claude Habib, always puts efforts to consolidate the meanings of the arts for the recipients of her creative activities, as well as for the Gallery visitors.
As we know well that the inveterate Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi accepts only what is distinctive and leading, therefore we confirm that the exhibition will provide an important cultural icon for the artistic scene of 2018 in the UAE".
For her part, The Artist Claude Habib, founder of La PAROLE Art Gallery, said: "In each and every Art Exhibition we present, we aim to display the artistic diversity existing in the UAE, and permanently gathered under the roof of “La PAROLE Art Gallery”. That is by highlighting the Schools of Art represented by the performance of the artists and their paintings, locals and foreigners, and opening new horizons for both artists and people.
Our cooperation with the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi comes in the interest of working with leading educational institutions that support art in general, and fine art in particular, on an ongoing basis.
