Artist Adham Makki

Adham Makki is an Egyptian visual artist who holds a degree in Fine Arts. Ahmad is a prolific artist whose art has been exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions since 2010, among which are World Art Dubai 2020, Maqamat El Karma, Picasso Gallery-Cairo, and VA group exhibition – USA.

The sharp lines that characterise his work are nothing but a representation of his confident use of oil colours in his paintings that reflect joy and delight.

The region of Upper Egypt where Ahamd was born and raised had a great impact on his artistic personality and is strongly present in his work where we can see the fusion of the rural life with its mountainous surroundings and the walls of the temples and the archaeological and historical cities of the region.

Adham is always looking for the key links between the past and the present, the acquired and the inherent, and he tries to recreate them in his paintings with a contemporary vision.

 

أدهم مكّي، فنّان تشكيليّ مصريّ غزيرُ الإنتاج حاصل على بكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة. عُرضَت أعماله في العديد من المعارض الجَمَاعيّة والفرديّة منذ عام 2010 وحتى الآن، من بينها معرض World Art Dubai 2020، ومقام الكرمة، غاليري بيكاسو - القاهرة، والمعرض الجماعي   VA في الولايات المتّحدة الأمريكيّة.

الخطوط الحادّة التي تميّز عمله ليست سوى تمثيل لاستخدامه الواثق للألوان الزيتيّة في لوحاته التي تعكس الفرح والبهجة.

كان لمنطقة صعيد مصر حيث ولد أحمد وترعرع أثرًا كبيرًا على شخصيّته الفنيّة، ويظهر ذلك بقوّة في أعماله حيث يمكننا أن نرى اندماج الحياة الريفيّة بمحيطها الجبليّ مع جدران المعابد والمدن الأثريّة والتاريخيّة في المنطقة.

يبحث أدهم دائمًا عن الروابط الرئيسيّة بين الماضي والحاضر، بين ما هو مُكتَسَب وما هو فطريّ، ويحاول إعادة خلقها في لوحاته برؤية معاصرة.
